We were recently sent a handful of Terry’s Chocolate Orange’s to try and test a few indulgent recipes. So we thought we’d try making our own decadent chocolate orange ice-cream. Unlike your conventional ice-cream, you’ll find this recipe is incredibly easy to follow and it makes a lovely treat for anyone with a sweet-tooth. There’s no need to heat anything up or to remember to keep churning it either – simply break up your Terry’s Chocolate Orange and add it to some readily available ingredients…
1 Terry’s Chocolate Orange
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 can of condensed milk
2 drops of Orange Extract/Oil (optional)
How To Make It
Combine the condensed milk and cocoa powder and set aside.
Mix your heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form
Add a couple of drops of orange extract (optional)
Fold your condensed milk mixture into the newly whipped cream.
Break up your Terry’s Chocolate Orange into small pieces and stir into the mixture.
Pour into a freezable container, cover and freeze for at least 6 hours (or preferably overnight).
Once ready to serve, scoop the ice-cream into a bowl and insert whole segments of Chocolate Orange for effect.
You can also put your mixture into lolly moulds for a quick and easy summer treat!
